Frequently asked questions about algorithm.dot

How can a brand reduce confusion around payment pages for a brand-protection manager?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Is algorithm.dot a real, working domain extension?

Yes. .PAY is a live top-level domain in the global DNS, so algorithm.dot can host websites, redirect to checkout, and carry email like any other domain. It is not a subdomain or a marketing trick. domain.pay handles pre-orders and registration for algorithm.dot at /register.

Can I use .PAY for redirects to my existing checkout for payroll disbursements?

Yes, you can use a .PAY domain as a clean branded entry point or redirect to an existing checkout, but implement redirects, SSL and tracking carefully. First secure or pre-order the label through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Can I get help validating my mark before I register algorithm.dot?

Mark validation happens at the Trademark Clearinghouse, which reviews your evidence before issuing the SMD you need for algorithm.dot. NicNames handles the registration step once your SMD is in hand. Complete TMCH validation first, then bring the SMD to claim algorithm.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
