Frequently asked questions about yield.dot

Can a brand-protection manager use .PAY for a branded payment page for a brand-protection manager?

Yes. A brand-protection manager can use .PAY for a branded payment page if the name is available and registry rules are met. Search the label and choose trademark fast-track or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Why do payment TLDs raise the bar for verifying yield.dot?

Because users expect names like yield.dot to handle money safely, the .PAY namespace carries heightened anti-phishing and trust expectations. Meeting that bar means ensuring the real yield.dot name belongs to NicNames, not an impersonator. https://domain.pay/

As a bank or credit union, can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Who should I contact about trademark priority questions for yield.dot?

For trademark-priority questions about yield.dot, NicNames is your registrar and handles SMD submission and registration, while the Trademark Clearinghouse answers questions about validating your mark and issuing the SMD. Use the registration flow to begin and reach support for yield.dot. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY name should an event ticketing business consider when choosing travel.pay?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
