Frequently asked questions about yap.dot

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for loan repayments?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Why is Amazon Registry Services running .PAY relevant to yap.dot?

Having an established operator like Amazon Registry Services behind .PAY means yap.dot sits on professionally run, policy-governed infrastructure. That backing supports the namespace's stability and trust. It is a reason yap.dot reads as a serious payment address.

Are IDN .PAY domains allowed for mobile money?

IDN .PAY names may be possible only in supported scripts and must meet registry rules. Use domain.pay to check the exact label and punycode-style status before planning a launch: https://domain.pay/register. Availability, premium and policy restrictions still apply.

How do I confirm yap.dot was registered under my trademark priority?

After your SMD-backed claim succeeds, NicNames confirms the registration of yap.dot and it appears under your account, with the name reflected in WHOIS. That confirmation is your proof yap.dot was secured via trademark priority. If anything failed, refunds follow the published policy. Start and track it at https://domain.pay/register.
