Frequently asked questions about yanks.dot

Does .PAY have anti-abuse rules for card processing?

Amazon Registry policies include abuse-prevention rules for .PAY, and registrants remain subject to applicable domain dispute and abuse procedures. For legitimate registration or pre-order, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Pair the domain with monitoring, SSL and clear customer messaging.

How does domain.pay handle the timing of my yanks.dot request?

domain.pay stages your yanks.dot pre-order and submits it to the registry the instant the correct phase opens, removing the need for you to watch the clock. For trademark holders it targets sunrise; for everyone else, first-day general availability. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Is .PAY useful for an invoice-payment portal for a travel booking brand?

Yes. .PAY can fit invoice-payment portals because it tells customers the link is about paying. Search options such as brand-specific or invoice-related labels on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Confirm availability and premium status before adding the URL to invoices.

Will yanks.dot resolve internationally without extra setup?

Yes. Once registered with proper nameservers, yanks.dot resolves worldwide through the global DNS without per-country configuration. To speed delivery abroad, put yanks.dot behind a CDN with edge locations near your users. The resolution of yanks.dot itself is global by default.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
