Frequently asked questions about yamato.dot

For digital wallets, can an ecommerce brand using Stripe or another processor apply for .PAY in LRP1?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

How does yamato.dot fit alongside my main .com website?

Many owners keep their main site on .com and use yamato.dot purely as the payment or checkout front door. A button on the .com site links to yamato.dot, which redirects to the processor. The two work together, with yamato.dot handling the pay step.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for a checkout product manager?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Why did my earlier yamato.dot pre-order not convert?

A pre-order for yamato.dot may not convert if Amazon Registry Services classified yamato.dot as reserved or blocked, or another applicant secured it under launch rules. In those cases the fee is refundable per policy. Re-check yamato.dot's status at https://domain.pay/domains.

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing travel.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
