Frequently asked questions about xtraflex.dot

Why are payment brands talking about .PAY right now for point-of-sale payments?

For point-of-sale payments, .PAY can be a strong payment-specific brand signal. It does not replace compliance, security or a trusted checkout flow, but it can make the URL purpose obvious. Start with an availability check on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

How do priority phases differ from general availability for xtraflex.dot?

In priority phases, verified xtraflex.dot trademark holders use SMD files to claim xtraflex.dot before the public, while general availability opens xtraflex.dot to anyone. Using the priority window is the cleanest way for NicNames to avoid a race or dispute. https://domain.pay/pricing

Should I defensively register my brand in .PAY for cross-border payments?

If your brand accepts payments, registering the exact .PAY label can be a practical defensive step. Use domain.pay to check and start the priority or pre-order path: https://domain.pay/register. Also keep trademark monitoring and security controls in place.

Does NicNames refund taxes on a failed xtraflex.dot pre-order?

When a xtraflex.dot pre-order attempt fails, the refund under our stated policy returns the amount you were charged, including taxes collected on that failed attempt where applicable. NicNames reconciles this with your payment provider. Read the refund terms for xtraflex.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window when choosing tap.pay?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
