Frequently asked questions about wyvrn.dot

For point-of-sale payments, how should a regulated fintech think about .PAY and financial licensing?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Can I set up catch-all email for wyvrn.dot?

Yes, if your mail provider supports it, a catch-all routes any address at wyvrn.dot to one inbox. It's convenient but can attract spam, so many teams prefer explicit aliases for wyvrn.dot instead. Configure the catch-all in your mailbox provider after MX for wyvrn.dot is live.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for crypto payments?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

What is general availability for a name like wyvrn.dot?

General availability is the open launch phase in which any registrant can claim wyvrn.dot on a first-come basis, after sunrise ends. It is the phase most buyers without trademarks use. A first-day pre-order stages wyvrn.dot for this moment at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order when choosing wallet.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
