Frequently asked questions about wychwood.dot

Before choosing tap.pay, how do I register tap.pay if it matches my trademark?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Will I get refunded if my pre-order for wychwood.dot fails?

Yes. If your pre-order for wychwood.dot does not succeed, the standard $100 pre-order attempt is refundable, so a failed attempt does not cost you. That makes it safe to pre-order wychwood.dot and a backup in parallel. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see already-registered .PAY domains when choosing merchant.pay?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Should a hotel use wychwood.dot for room deposits?

A hotel can collect reservation deposits and incidental charges on wychwood.dot, giving guests one trusted payment address. The .PAY name on a confirmation email reassures travelers paying in advance. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails for online checkout?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
