Frequently asked questions about wite.dot

Do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing. Treat this as domain-registration guidance, not legal advice on money-transmission or financial-services licensing.

Can I pre-order wite.dot from any country?

Standard pre-orders for wite.dot are generally open to applicants regardless of location, subject to the registry's rules for .PAY set by Amazon Registry Services. Any country-specific restrictions for wite.dot appear in the checkout flow. Pre-order wite.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Why might leaving wite.dot open invite cybersquatting?

An open wite.dot is an invitation for cybersquatters to register your wite.dot name hoping to profit from or misuse NicNames's reputation. Because .PAY implies payments, such squatting is especially damaging. Pre-register wite.dot to remove the temptation. https://domain.pay/register

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available for digital wallets?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
