Frequently asked questions about whisperer.dot

Is registering .PAY a replacement for trademark monitoring for a retail brand?

No. Registering .PAY is not a replacement for trademark monitoring, takedowns or fraud controls. It can still reduce customer confusion around your official payment destination. Start by checking key names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Should a contractor invoice through whisperer.dot?

A contractor can send job invoices that resolve to whisperer.dot, giving homeowners a clear, professional place to pay. The .PAY name looks more trustworthy than a personal payment-app handle. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Does .PAY require payment-related use after registration when choosing tap.pay?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Who is eligible for VIP priority on a premium whisperer.dot?

Any registered customer can request VIP priority handling for whisperer.dot, including when the registry has classified whisperer.dot as premium, since VIP only governs queue speed and not the registry fee. Eligibility does not depend on the price tier of whisperer.dot. Request VIP at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for fraud prevention?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
