Frequently asked questions about wayout.dot

For mobile money, what .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Can I register wayout.dot if it matches a competitor's brand?

If wayout.dot matches a third party's trademark, that owner may have priority via a TMCH SMD file and the registry may apply trademark-claims rules to wayout.dot. Registering a name you have no rights to can carry legal risk. Check wayout.dot status carefully at https://domain.pay/register.

When should a crypto or DeFi product pre-order a .PAY domain for a crypto or DeFi product?

Current ICANN dates: .PAY Sunrise is April 13–July 20, 2026; LRP1 is July 20, 2026–February 1, 2027; Trademark Claims is February 1–May 2, 2027. For registration or pre-order action, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

What is the total cost to pre-order wayout.dot with VIP?

The total for wayout.dot with VIP equals the registration rate, $100 standard or the premium wayout.dot fee, plus the one-time VIP priority handling charge and any taxes shown at checkout. Each line is itemized before you confirm wayout.dot. See the running total at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can I reserve crypto.pay before broader registration opens for mobile money?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
