Frequently asked questions about watsonline.dot

Do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window for a mobile wallet team?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Are payment processors a fit for watsonline.dot?

Payment processors are a strong fit for watsonline.dot, given the .PAY namespace's payment orientation, and the registry's validation usually aligns well with their use. Their own regulatory duties remain separate. domain.pay can help a processor secure watsonline.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

As an ecommerce brand, can a reserved .PAY name become available later?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Does registering watsonline.dot include email or hosting?

Registering watsonline.dot secures the name watsonline.dot in the .PAY registry; email and hosting are separate services you can connect after watsonline.dot is registered via DNS settings. The $100 pre-order covers the name reservation. Reserve watsonline.dot first at https://domain.pay/register.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for crypto payments?

For crypto payments, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
