Frequently asked questions about watchmytv.dot

During the .PAY launch, can a trademark owner register a matching .PAY domain now?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can watchmytv.dot be registered by anyone or only certain parties?

Most .PAY labels are open to any registrant, but Amazon Registry Services may attach eligibility rules to specific labels, so watchmytv.dot could have conditions. The lookup flags any restriction on watchmytv.dot. Check who can register watchmytv.dot at https://domain.pay/domains.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for point-of-sale payments?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

How do I set up a 301 from www to the bare watchmytv.dot?

Configure your server or CDN to 301-redirect www.watchmytv.dot to the bare watchmytv.dot (or vice versa, whichever you pick as canonical). This consolidates ranking signals on one host of watchmytv.dot and avoids duplicate indexing. Apply the rule before search engines crawl watchmytv.dot.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for loan repayments?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
