Frequently asked questions about walks.dot

What does 'approved Payment Service Provider' mean for .PAY eligibility for online checkout?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Why might my pre-order for walks.dot not succeed?

A pre-order for walks.dot may not succeed if another applicant is allocated walks.dot, if the registry applies reserved-name or premium rules, or if priority claimants take precedence. In those cases the fee is refundable per the stated policy. Submit your pre-order for walks.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I pre-order a .PAY name for fraud prevention for an ecommerce brand?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Is walks.dot recognized by web browsers and DNS?

Yes. Because .PAY is a live top-level domain in the root DNS, browsers resolve walks.dot like any other address. There is no special plugin or setting required to visit walks.dot. The Amazon Registry Services infrastructure keeps it routable worldwide.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for link.pay for loan repayments?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
