Frequently asked questions about walkey.dot

For BNPL checkout, when does the .PAY LRP1 period begin?

ICANN currently lists .PAY Limited Registration Period 1 from July 20, 2026 to February 1, 2027. LRP1 has payment-transaction eligibility and use restrictions. Check your domain path through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

What is DNSSEC and can I enable it for walkey.dot?

DNSSEC cryptographically signs DNS responses so resolvers can detect tampering for walkey.dot. If your DNS host and the registry support it, you publish a DS record so walkey.dot is validated end to end. Enable DNSSEC for walkey.dot only when both sides are configured to avoid resolution failures.

How can a marketplace use a .PAY domain for payroll disbursements?

A marketplace can use .PAY for seller payouts, buyer checkout, escrow, billing or payment support flows. Generate and verify names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Choose a label that customers will recognize as official and safe.

What can a streamer do with walkey.dot on stream?

A streamer can display walkey.dot as the address viewers use to support the channel in real time. A short, spellable .PAY name works far better on an overlay than a long shortener. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for a donation platform?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
