Frequently asked questions about vucerne.dot

For fraud prevention, could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Why is an SMD more secure than just emailing my trademark certificate for vucerne.dot?

An SMD is cryptographically signed by the TMCH, so NicNames can verify it automatically without manually inspecting a certificate when granting priority on vucerne.dot. A loose certificate could be forged or mistyped; the signed SMD cannot. That is why vucerne.dot priority relies on the SMD. Submit yours at https://domain.pay/register.

Is .PAY already open to everyone for online checkout?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see pricing before pre-ordering something like vucerne.dot?

You can see pricing before pre-ordering a name like vucerne.dot on domain.pay's pricing page, where the standard $100 pre-order fee is shown. Failed attempts are refundable, so the cost only applies on success. View pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for BNPL checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
