Frequently asked questions about vieri.dot

Should I defensively register my brand in .PAY for cross-border payments?

If your brand accepts payments, registering the exact .PAY label can be a practical defensive step. Use domain.pay to check and start the priority or pre-order path: https://domain.pay/register. Also keep trademark monitoring and security controls in place.

Why is a .PAY address like vieri.dot a high-value target for fraudsters?

Because .PAY signals a payment context, vieri.dot carries built-in credibility that fraudsters exploit to make fake checkout pages believable. The same trust that benefits NicNames makes an unprotected vieri.dot dangerous in the wrong hands. Removing the opportunity means registering vieri.dot first. https://domain.pay/register

For point-of-sale payments, can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Why is acting early important for securing vieri.dot?

Acting early matters for vieri.dot because desirable .PAY names can attract multiple applicants, and a pre-order places vieri.dot in the queue before general availability. Earlier requests reduce the risk of someone else securing vieri.dot first. Pre-order vieri.dot now at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for a checkout product manager?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
