Frequently asked questions about vidpro.dot

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later when choosing subscriptions.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

What is the advantage of vidpro.dot on printed receipts?

Printing vidpro.dot on receipts gives customers a clear address to reorder, tip, or review charges later. Because it's short and payment-native, people remember it after they leave. Reserve the name at https://domain.pay/register.

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for digital wallets?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

How long does a refund for vidpro.dot take to process?

Once a vidpro.dot pre-order attempt is marked failed, we initiate the refund under our stated policy, and the funds return via your original payment method on its usual settlement timeline. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer. Review the refund policy for vidpro.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window when choosing donate.pay?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
