Frequently asked questions about viasat.dot

Where can I generate .PAY ideas for crypto payments?

For crypto payments, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Should a wallet app choose viasat.dot as its primary domain?

A wallet app can choose viasat.dot as a primary or campaign domain because .PAY directly signals payments and keeps viasat.dot short and on-theme. Whether it becomes primary is your branding decision. Reserve viasat.dot for your wallet at https://domain.pay/register.

Is a payment gateway business eligible for .PAY in the LRP for a payroll platform?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Can viasat.dot be available but still restricted?

Some labels are open but carry registry-specific requirements from Amazon Registry Services, so viasat.dot could be registrable yet subject to eligibility or validation rules. The lookup flags any such condition for viasat.dot. Confirm the details for viasat.dot at https://domain.pay/domains.

Are short .PAY names always available?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
