Frequently asked questions about verve.dot

Is .PAY already open to everyone for an ecommerce brand?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register. Re-confirm dates before publishing if the registry updates its schedule.

Is verve.dot a good home for a billing dashboard?

Routing your customer billing dashboard to verve.dot gives account holders a stable, payment-native address to manage cards and invoices. The consistency lowers support load when people search for "where do I pay." Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Does .PAY require payment-related use after registration when choosing tap.pay?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Does verve.dot replace my payment processor?

No. verve.dot is an address, not a payment processor; it points customers to whatever gateway you use, such as Stripe or PayPal. verve.dot handles branding and discovery while the processor handles the money. You can register verve.dot and keep your current provider via /register.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available when choosing subscriptions.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
