Frequently asked questions about verte.dot

What happens around February 1, 2027 for .PAY when choosing travel.pay?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How do priority claims affect my standard pre-order of verte.dot?

If a trademark owner files a valid priority claim for verte.dot, their claim is processed ahead of standard pre-orders, so a priority applicant can secure verte.dot before you. If that happens, your standard pre-order fee is refundable per the stated policy. Pre-order verte.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order for digital wallets?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

How does verte.dot compare to using a /pay path on a .com site?

With verte.dot the payment intent lives in the domain itself, while a /pay path hangs off a longer .com URL that may be hard to recall. verte.dot is easier to say aloud, print, or put on a QR code. Both can route to the same processor, but verte.dot is the cleaner address.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for BNPL checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
