Frequently asked questions about vbv.dot

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order for BNPL checkout?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

How do I check whether vbv.dot is taken?

Enter vbv.dot into the search on https://domain.pay/domains and the lookup returns vbv.dot's live status: available, premium, reserved, blocked, or already registered. The result reflects the registry's current data from Amazon Registry Services. Because statuses change, re-check vbv.dot before you commit.

For fraud prevention, how can a marketplace use a .PAY domain?

A marketplace can use .PAY for seller payouts, buyer checkout, escrow, billing or payment support flows. Generate and verify names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Choose a label that customers will recognize as official and safe.

How do I check whether vbv.dot is still available?

To check whether vbv.dot is still available, enter vbv.dot in the search on domain.pay, which shows its current registry status, pre-order, or priority eligibility. Availability changes as the .PAY launch progresses. Check the live status of vbv.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for mobile money?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
