Frequently asked questions about valian.dot

Why is .PAY important for phishing prevention for an ecommerce brand?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Can I upgrade to VIP handling after pre-ordering valian.dot?

You can add VIP priority handling to a pending valian.dot pre-order before it is submitted, moving your request higher in our queue. VIP affects ordering speed only and does not change the registry's final decision on valian.dot. Add it at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for a remittance app?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Does NicNames accept SMD files from any TMCH-accredited provider for valian.dot?

NicNames accepts the standard SMD file issued through the Trademark Clearinghouse, regardless of which accredited agent helped you record the mark, for claiming valian.dot. What matters is a valid, matching SMD for the valian.dot string. The issuing path does not change acceptance for valian.dot. Upload yours at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing travel.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
