Frequently asked questions about valens.dot

Why is .PAY important for phishing prevention for a remittance app?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Who operates the registry behind valens.dot?

The registry behind valens.dot is .PAY, operated by Amazon Registry Services, which sets the eligibility and validation expectations for the namespace. domain.pay is your registration path into that namespace. Learn how to register valens.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a trademark holder challenge a bad .PAY Sunrise registration for secure payment links?

.PAY Sunrise registrations can be subject to Sunrise dispute procedures if the registration or denial violates the Sunrise criteria. Start by checking your own label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register, and coordinate with trademark counsel for formal dispute strategy.

Will valens.dot help a course creator sell programs?

A course creator can sell cohorts and downloads on valens.dot, sending students to a trusted, payment-native checkout. It reads more credibly in an email or ad than a generic platform URL. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

For payroll disbursements, would trust.pay work as a payment brand?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
