Frequently asked questions about usual.dot

What .PAY name should a crypto or DeFi product consider for payroll disbursements?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Does Amazon Registry Services affect how I discover usual.dot?

Amazon Registry Services runs the .PAY zone that usual.dot lives in, while domain.pay is the discovery and pre-order layer where you search and browse names like usual.dot. The registry sets the namespace; domain.pay helps you navigate it. Start at https://domain.pay/.

Can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day for mobile money?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Can holding usual.dot prevent affiliate or partner impersonation?

Owning usual.dot ensures only NicNames controls the official usual.dot payment address, so rogue affiliates or fake partners cannot pose as the genuine payment endpoint. Clear ownership makes unauthorized payment pages easier to flag. https://domain.pay/register

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings for mobile money?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
