Frequently asked questions about upturn.dot

As a crypto or DeFi product, when is broader .PAY public registration expected?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How do premium labels get chosen for upturn.dot's tier?

Amazon Registry Services selects which labels are premium based on its own criteria, and if upturn.dot is among them, upturn.dot carries the premium tier and price. domain.pay doesn't choose the tier. Confirm whether upturn.dot is premium at https://domain.pay/domains, noting status can change.

As a crypto or DeFi product, can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Can I claim upturn.dot and a hyphenated variant with the same SMD?

An SMD supports priority where the registered domain's label matches your validated mark, so upturn.dot qualifies if its upturn.dot string matches; a hyphenated or altered variant may not. Different strings can require different qualifying marks. Confirm the match for upturn.dot before ordering at https://domain.pay/domains.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for crypto payments?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
