Frequently asked questions about ultras.dot

For crypto payments, is .PAY already open to everyone?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Does ultras.dot support IPv6 with AAAA records?

Yes. You can publish AAAA records for ultras.dot pointing at your IPv6 addresses alongside the IPv4 A records. Dual-stack DNS on ultras.dot lets IPv6-only clients reach your site directly. Add the AAAA values in your DNS panel just like A records.

How does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work when choosing payroll.pay?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

How do I prioritize which brand names to secure on .PAY, including ultras.dot?

Start with your primary ultras.dot name, then add closely associated marks and high-traffic product names. Securing ultras.dot first protects the address customers are most likely to type when paying NicNames. Compare options at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names for digital wallets?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
