Frequently asked questions about u2b.dot

For BNPL checkout, how exact does my trademark need to be for a .PAY Sunrise registration?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

Why does u2b.dot load on HTTP but not HTTPS?

If u2b.dot serves over HTTP but fails on HTTPS, the SSL certificate is likely missing, expired, or not bound to port 443 on your server. Install or renew a cert covering u2b.dot, ensure 443 is open, then redirect HTTP to HTTPS. Test u2b.dot again after reloading the web server.

Can I use nameservers and DNS like other domains with .PAY for payroll disbursements?

After registration, plan DNS, SSL, redirects, security monitoring and payment-page controls as you would for a production domain. Start by securing the .PAY name through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. A domain alone does not make a checkout secure.

Is sunrise mandatory to get u2b.dot?

Sunrise is not mandatory for everyone; it is only the path for trademark holders to claim u2b.dot early. If you have no trademark, you simply use general availability instead. domain.pay routes your u2b.dot request to the correct phase at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available for a donation platform?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
