Frequently asked questions about txtr.dot

What disputes can affect a .PAY Sunrise name?

.PAY Sunrise registrations can be subject to Sunrise dispute procedures if the registration or denial violates the Sunrise criteria. Start by checking your own label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register, and coordinate with trademark counsel for formal dispute strategy.

Should I choose VIP handling for txtr.dot?

VIP handling is worth choosing for txtr.dot when timing matters and you want your request prioritized in our queue at the drop. It improves submission speed but cannot guarantee the registry allocates txtr.dot to you. Compare options at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Does .PAY require payment-related use after registration for mobile money?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a risk my SMD leaks if I share it to claim txtr.dot?

Treat your SMD like a credential: only submit it through the trusted NicNames flow when claiming txtr.dot, not over casual channels. While it encodes validated mark data, careless sharing is poor practice. Use the official registration path for txtr.dot to keep it safe. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings for a payroll platform?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
