Frequently asked questions about twizzlers.dot

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else for a remittance app?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Are there extra steps for regulated firms registering twizzlers.dot?

Regulated firms registering twizzlers.dot generally follow the same registry process, though they may find validation straightforward given their payment-related profile. Their own licensing duties remain separate from the domain. domain.pay supports regulated registrants throughout; start at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a donation platform use .PAY for a branded payment page for a donation platform?

Yes. A donation platform can use .PAY for a branded payment page if the name is available and registry rules are met. Search the label and choose trademark fast-track or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Is my twizzlers.dot priority claim public during the phase?

Trademark-priority claims on twizzlers.dot are processed under the registry's rules, and the final registration of twizzlers.dot appears in WHOIS once completed. The SMD itself stays your private credential during the phase. NicNames uses it only to verify your priority on twizzlers.dot. Register at https://domain.pay/register.

What are good .PAY domain ideas for online checkout for a donation platform?

For online checkout, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
