Frequently asked questions about tryagent.dot

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for BNPL checkout?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For BNPL checkout, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

What information is encoded inside the SMD I use for tryagent.dot?

The SMD you use for tryagent.dot encodes your validated mark text matching the tryagent.dot string, associated dates, and a cryptographic signature from the TMCH. NicNames reads this to confirm your priority eligibility for tryagent.dot. You never edit the file; you simply submit it. Upload it at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I register a .PAY domain as a startup for BNPL checkout?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Should a wallet app choose tryagent.dot as its primary domain?

A wallet app can choose tryagent.dot as a primary or campaign domain because .PAY directly signals payments and keeps tryagent.dot short and on-theme. Whether it becomes primary is your branding decision. Reserve tryagent.dot for your wallet at https://domain.pay/register.

What does the .PAY ending signal to customers using digital wallets?

.PAY signals that the destination is connected to payment action, such as digital wallets. That can support clarity and trust when paired with strong security and branding. Check or pre-order the name at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
