Frequently asked questions about trex.dot

Can I move a .PAY domain between registrars for online checkout?

Transfers may be subject to registry, registrar and phase-specific rules, especially for LRP names. Start with domain.pay for the registration path and confirm eligibility before any transfer plan: https://domain.pay/register.

Why route affiliate payouts through trex.dot?

Affiliates checking their earnings appreciate a stable, payment-native home, and trex.dot delivers exactly that. A consistent .PAY payout address reduces confusion about where money is disbursed. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see already-registered .PAY domains for point-of-sale payments?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Why does the registry control when trex.dot can be registered?

trex.dot can only be registered when Amazon Registry Services, the operator of .PAY, opens trex.dot in a launch phase such as Sunrise, priority, or general availability. domain.pay queues your request to match that schedule. Pre-order trex.dot so you are ready at https://domain.pay/register.

Does .PAY require payment-related use after registration when choosing donate.pay?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
