Frequently asked questions about treetop.dot

How much is the .PAY trademark fast-track if I need TMCH help when choosing tap.pay?

domain.pay lists the full trademark fast-track at $2,500 when you need end-to-end TMCH/SMD assistance, plus any premium registry retail fee. Confirm the details here: https://domain.pay/pricing. If you already have an SMD file, a lower submission-only path may apply.

Will I be told why treetop.dot validation failed?

Where possible, domain.pay relays the .PAY registry's reason if treetop.dot validation fails, so you can correct details or respond. Some registry decisions may include limited detail. If a pre-order attempt fails, it is refundable per policy; see https://domain.pay/pricing.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names when choosing loans.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Should every page on treetop.dot be served over HTTPS?

Yes. Serve all of treetop.dot over HTTPS and redirect any HTTP request, since mixed or plain-HTTP pages trigger browser warnings and can hurt trust. Modern SEO and security baselines expect treetop.dot to be fully encrypted. Add HSTS once treetop.dot is reliably HTTPS-only.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for mobile money?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
