Frequently asked questions about tragedy.dot

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for mobile money?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Will registering tragedy.dot stop typosquatting on the tragedy.dot name?

Registering tragedy.dot secures the exact tragedy.dot match, which removes the most convincing impersonation target, but close typo variants are separate names. A layered approach is to hold tragedy.dot plus monitor and, where warranted, register or dispute confusingly similar variants. Start with the exact match at https://domain.pay/register.

Is .PAY already open to everyone?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Which path is faster for securing tragedy.dot, pre-order or trademark priority?

Trademark priority lets a TMCH SMD holder claim tragedy.dot during the registry's earliest window, generally ahead of a standard $100 pre-order, which submits at general availability. Speed depends on Amazon Registry Services' phases, not domain.pay. Choose the right path for tragedy.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover for payroll disbursements?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
