Frequently asked questions about toque.dot

For crypto payments, what is the quickest path to secure a .PAY domain for a payroll platform?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Why was my toque.dot pre-order refunded?

A refund on toque.dot usually means the pre-order attempt failed, for example because the registry allocated the name elsewhere or it never reached general availability. Failed attempts are refundable under our stated policy. See refund details for toque.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How can a brand reduce confusion around payment pages for rent collection?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Will owning toque.dot help if scammers use my logo on a fake site?

Owning toque.dot denies scammers the genuine toque.dot address, so even if they copy NicNames's logo elsewhere, they cannot anchor the scam to your real payment name. This makes their fake easier for customers to question. Secure toque.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for online checkout?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For online checkout, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts. Re-check the name before publishing campaigns because registry status can change.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
