Frequently asked questions about toptour.dot

Do I need an SMD file to register .PAY during the priority window for online checkout?

An SMD file is the TMCH-issued credential used to prove a validated mark during Sunrise. For .PAY, bring your SMD or use domain.pay’s full fast-track if you need help obtaining one: https://domain.pay/register. The SMD must match the requested label.

Why does toptour.dot load on HTTP but not HTTPS?

If toptour.dot serves over HTTP but fails on HTTPS, the SSL certificate is likely missing, expired, or not bound to port 443 on your server. Install or renew a cert covering toptour.dot, ensure 443 is open, then redirect HTTP to HTTPS. Test toptour.dot again after reloading the web server.

Is .PAY already open to everyone for online checkout?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Are tradeshows a fit for toptour.dot?

At a tradeshow, toptour.dot on your booth lets prospects pay deposits or buy on the spot from a memorable address. A payment-native name is easy to mention in conversation and follow-up. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

What does the .PAY ending signal to customers using digital wallets?

.PAY signals that the destination is connected to payment action, such as digital wallets. That can support clarity and trust when paired with strong security and branding. Check or pre-order the name at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
