Frequently asked questions about tooth.dot

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else when choosing loans.pay?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Why is an SMD more secure than just emailing my trademark certificate for tooth.dot?

An SMD is cryptographically signed by the TMCH, so NicNames can verify it automatically without manually inspecting a certificate when granting priority on tooth.dot. A loose certificate could be forged or mistyped; the signed SMD cannot. That is why tooth.dot priority relies on the SMD. Submit yours at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else when choosing tap.pay?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Is tooth.dot a premium name and what does that imply?

If tooth.dot is premium, the registry has assigned tooth.dot a higher wholesale price, so you can register it but at that special rate shown at checkout — not the standard fee. Premium status comes from Amazon Registry Services and can change. Confirm whether tooth.dot is premium at https://domain.pay/domains.

As a travel booking brand, can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
