Frequently asked questions about tocaboca.dot

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for point-of-sale payments?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

How does first-day pre-order improve my odds for tocaboca.dot?

A first-day pre-order queues your attempt for tocaboca.dot the moment it becomes available, improving your chances against later applicants. If a contested attempt fails, the pre-order is refundable per policy. domain.pay offers this for tocaboca.dot; details at https://domain.pay/pricing.

For digital wallets, can an ecommerce brand using Stripe or another processor apply for .PAY in LRP1?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

What is a TMCH SMD file and why do I need one to register tocaboca.dot?

A TMCH SMD (Signed Mark Data) file is a digital certificate the Trademark Clearinghouse issues after it validates your trademark. To claim tocaboca.dot under trademark priority you upload this SMD at registration so NicNames can verify your mark cryptographically. Without a valid SMD the priority window for tocaboca.dot cannot be opened. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

What does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover for fraud prevention?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
