Frequently asked questions about tigre.dot

Where should I check whether a .PAY name fits my online checkout project for a crypto or DeFi product?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For online checkout, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts. Re-check the name before publishing campaigns because registry status can change.

Are there eligibility differences for premium tigre.dot names?

Premium tigre.dot names follow the same .PAY eligibility and validation expectations as standard names; the difference is usually pricing rather than who may register. The registry's payment-related focus still applies. domain.pay shows premium status and pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for wallet.pay when choosing wallet.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Will switching from a .com to tigre.dot cost me SEO traffic?

A move to tigre.dot only risks traffic if it's done without proper 301 redirects from every old URL to its match on tigre.dot. With correct redirects, a canonical update, and a Search Console change-of-address, rankings transfer over time. Plan the migration to tigre.dot carefully and monitor results.

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for fraud prevention?

subscriptions.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
