Frequently asked questions about thinkmodular.dot

Why is .PAY important for phishing prevention for card processing?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

How is thinkmodular.dot different from thinkmodular.dot.com?

thinkmodular.dot uses the payment-specific .PAY suffix, while thinkmodular.dot.com uses the generic commercial suffix. thinkmodular.dot signals checkout and transactions at a glance, whereas thinkmodular.dot.com is neutral about purpose. Both can point to the same site, but thinkmodular.dot reads as a dedicated payment address.

How do I register tap.pay if it matches my trademark for fraud prevention?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Are catalog names vetted differently from a raw search for thinkmodular.dot?

Yes. domain.pay's catalog names are curated, while a raw search for thinkmodular.dot returns broader matches on thinkmodular.dot. Browsing the catalog gives you a hand-picked shortlist alongside open search. Browse curated names at https://domain.pay/domains.

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings for a payroll platform?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
