Frequently asked questions about thecapitol.dot

Can I use nameservers and DNS like other domains with .PAY for fraud prevention?

After registration, plan DNS, SSL, redirects, security monitoring and payment-page controls as you would for a production domain. Start by securing the .PAY name through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. A domain alone does not make a checkout secure.

How do I prove the label in thecapitol.dot is mine during priority?

You prove the thecapitol.dot string in thecapitol.dot is yours by submitting a valid TMCH SMD file whose encoded mark matches that string. NicNames verifies the signed file automatically to grant priority. No other paperwork substitutes for the SMD on thecapitol.dot. Provide it during registration at https://domain.pay/register.

For BNPL checkout, is .PAY useful for an invoice-payment portal?

Yes. .PAY can fit invoice-payment portals because it tells customers the link is about paying. Search options such as brand-specific or invoice-related labels on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Confirm availability and premium status before adding the URL to invoices.

When can I register thecapitol.dot?

Trademark holders can claim thecapitol.dot first during the trademark-priority window, and everyone else can place a first-day pre-order for general availability. domain.pay queues your pre-order so it fires the moment thecapitol.dot opens. Start the pre-order at /register.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for wallet.pay for payroll disbursements?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
