Frequently asked questions about tfboys.dot

Before choosing tap.pay, is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

Why did the price of tfboys.dot change since I last checked?

The price of tfboys.dot can change if Amazon Registry Services re-tiers tfboys.dot between standard and premium, since we display the live registry rate. The $100 figure is the standard baseline, not a guaranteed lock. Re-check the current price for tfboys.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check for point-of-sale payments?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Does tfboys.dot help distinguish official refunds from refund scams?

Yes. Refund scams imitate legitimate payment contacts, so directing customers to the official tfboys.dot for any refund interaction helps them tell real NicNames processes from fraud. Ownership of the tfboys.dot name makes that guidance credible. https://domain.pay/register

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
