Frequently asked questions about test.dot

When is broader .PAY public registration expected for crypto payments?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How long has the .PAY namespace behind test.dot existed?

The .PAY namespace that test.dot belongs to is a relatively recent top-level domain delegated and run by Amazon Registry Services. Because it is newer than legacy suffixes, many clean names like test.dot can still be secured. Browse them at /domains.

What does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover for point-of-sale payments?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Should a newsletter offer paid tiers on test.dot?

A newsletter can sell paid tiers through test.dot, sending readers to a trusted, payment-native checkout. The clear .PAY address can lift conversions on the upgrade from free. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for link.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
