Frequently asked questions about telematics.dot

As a donation platform, can I pre-register a .PAY name without a trademark?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

What determines who wins telematics.dot at general availability?

At general availability, telematics.dot generally goes to the qualifying request that reaches the registry first. Pre-ordering with domain.pay stages telematics.dot to be submitted at the exact opening, improving your position. Stage your request at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later when choosing subscriptions.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Will I be refunded if my pre-order for telematics.dot fails?

Yes. If a pre-order attempt for telematics.dot does not result in a successful registration, the fee is refundable per the stated policy. This applies when telematics.dot cannot be allocated to you for reasons outside your control. Review terms and start at https://domain.pay/register.

What does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
