Frequently asked questions about techprep.dot

Who operates the .PAY extension, and where can an ecommerce brand get one for fraud prevention?

Amazon Registry Services operates the .PAY top-level domain. An ecommerce brand can search, pre-order or start a trademark-priority route through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay is the customer-facing place to act, while registry rules still control availability and eligibility.

How does VIP priority handling work for techprep.dot?

VIP priority handling places your techprep.dot request ahead in our processing queue so it is submitted to the registry as quickly as possible at the drop or general availability. It does not guarantee allocation, since the registry makes the final assignment for techprep.dot. Learn more at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Does .PAY have anti-abuse rules?

Amazon Registry policies include abuse-prevention rules for .PAY, and registrants remain subject to applicable domain dispute and abuse procedures. For legitimate registration or pre-order, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Pair the domain with monitoring, SSL and clear customer messaging.

What happens after my SMD is accepted for techprep.dot?

Once NicNames accepts your SMD, your trademark-priority claim on techprep.dot is recorded and processed ahead of standard pre-orders. If the claim succeeds, techprep.dot is registered to you; if it cannot be completed, charges are refundable per policy. Watch your confirmation and manage it from your account. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for link.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
