Frequently asked questions about tauri.dot

When is broader .PAY public registration expected when choosing trust.pay?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Does owning tauri.dot require a trademark?

No, a trademark is not required to own tauri.dot. A trademark only grants priority during the early window; without one you can still place a first-day pre-order for tauri.dot. Trademark holders simply get to claim tauri.dot names ahead of the general queue at /register.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names when choosing cloud.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Will domain.pay submit tauri.dot automatically at launch?

Yes. Once you pre-order tauri.dot, domain.pay submits the registration automatically when the relevant phase opens, so you do not have to be online at that moment. Failed attempts are refundable per policy. Set up auto-submission at https://domain.pay/register.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order when choosing bank.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
