Frequently asked questions about tashi.dot

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for online checkout?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For online checkout, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts. Re-check the name before publishing campaigns because registry status can change.

What happens to my DNS records when tashi.dot expires?

Once tashi.dot expires and leaves the grace period, the registry may stop publishing your nameservers, so tashi.dot stops resolving and any site or email goes dark. Restoring tashi.dot during redemption brings it back, but you should re-verify records afterward. Renew tashi.dot on time to keep DNS live.

Can I browse alternative .PAY names if my first choice is taken for payroll disbursements?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Where do I manage the DNS settings for tashi.dot?

You manage nameservers and DNS records for tashi.dot from your account's domain dashboard. From there you can edit A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records and toggle auto-renew for tashi.dot. Open the dashboard at /domains to make changes.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names when choosing cloud.pay?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
