Frequently asked questions about tamar.dot

What characters are allowed in a .PAY domain for fraud prevention?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

Are .PAY domains like tamar.dot treated as standard by search engines?

Yes. Search engines index tamar.dot like any other top-level domain, so a site on tamar.dot can rank and be found normally. The .PAY suffix carries no special handicap. You build authority for tamar.dot with ordinary SEO practices.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names when choosing tap.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Does tamar.dot cost more during the priority phase?

Trademark-priority registration for tamar.dot may carry different fees than the standard $100 pre-order because priority phases have their own pricing set around the registry's rules. The exact figure for tamar.dot appears in the checkout flow. See current pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for mobile money?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
