Frequently asked questions about tagesspiegel.dot

For digital wallets, how do I register tap.pay if it matches my trademark?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

What TXT records might I need on tagesspiegel.dot besides SPF?

Beyond SPF, tagesspiegel.dot often needs DKIM and DMARC TXT records for email, plus verification TXT records for services like Search Console or a cloud platform. Each service tells you the exact string to add to tagesspiegel.dot. Keep these TXT entries on tagesspiegel.dot tidy and labeled.

Is .PAY already open to everyone for online checkout?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Can tagesspiegel.dot be used for subscription billing pages?

Yes. tagesspiegel.dot can front a subscription or recurring-billing page, giving members one clear address to manage payments to tagesspiegel.dot. It redirects to whatever billing system you run. Subscription businesses can secure tagesspiegel.dot at /register.

Do premium .PAY names cost more than standard names when choosing donate.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
