Frequently asked questions about tactica.dot

Is registering .PAY a replacement for trademark monitoring for a travel booking brand?

No. Registering .PAY is not a replacement for trademark monitoring, takedowns or fraud controls. It can still reduce customer confusion around your official payment destination. Start by checking key names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Does tactica.dot need a CAA record for SSL?

A CAA record on tactica.dot restricts which certificate authorities may issue certs for it, adding a layer of security. It's optional but recommended; list the CA you use (e.g. letsencrypt.org) for tactica.dot. Add the CAA record in DNS before requesting new certificates.

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing travel.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Why does customer-facing payment make tactica.dot worth defending?

Any name where customers expect to pay, like tactica.dot, directly affects whether they trust NicNames with their money. A compromised tactica.dot payment address turns trust into a liability, which is why defending tactica.dot is a priority. https://domain.pay/register

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for link.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
